Enrica – L’insegnante

My name is Enrica, I’ve been living in in Bologna for 6 years now, but I was born and raised in Rome.
I love literature, art and music, and I have a degree of Letters and Literature and I also graduated in the cello from the Conservatory of Frosinone.
My real passion though is learning foreign languages I speak English, some Spanish and I’m learning German. I, of course, keep on exploring Italian language which is always full of surprises. I think you ‘re never done learning and improving.
I love teaching people to speak Italian, I approach my work with great love and dedication my job I have many years experience teaching groups and individuals and I’m thoroughly enjoy opening up my home to people wanting to immerse themselves in the Italian culture.
I have been organising homestay courses through a local foreign language school for a while now, I love travelling, seeing new places, talking to different people and listen to new stories. And what I really love about this job is that I can do all these things, at home teaching my native language, and the world comes to me!

My Family

I live with my husband, Matteo and our daughter, Anita. Even while she was still in my tummy, she was experiencing homestay.

We are always so happy when some decides to pass a few days with us on a homestay course. We ensure the welcome is warm and we love sharing our daily life with you, as well as helping you get a taste of Italy’s true beauty, fabulous food. It’s enriching for everyone involved.

We love talking about our country and at the same time learning more and hearing stories about yours. Sharing is a real gift.
